Workout Wednesday: 5 Reasons Not to Skip Leg Day

It’s easy to make excuses when it comes to training legs. Popular excuses include: “they’re too hard to train,” “I’d rather have nice arms,” “squats hurt my knees.” We’ve all been there (and likely all experienced those who actually choose to skip it), but the benefits of training legs far outweigh the challenge of a leg workout.


1. You’ll reduce your risk of injury


2. You’ll burn more calories


3. You’ll improve your balance


4. You’ll increase your metabolism


5. You’ll relieve lower back pain
